The Roberson Family

Zanetta Roberson has spent nearly 40 years in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Now, combining that experience with recipes cultivated by her family in the hills of New Castle, AL, she is serving dishes that have been staples for family and friend gatherings.

Husband, Darrin Roberson is a 20-year veteran of the United States Air Force. After serving at Barksdale AFB (Shreveport, LA), the Birmingham native, relocated to Maxwell AFB (Montgomery, AL). Following his military career, which included tours in Italy, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq, Darrin transitioned to teaching elementary school. He has been a part the Montgomery Public School system for over 14 years.

Son, Dyron first learned to cook with his granny - she taught him to fry bologna at the age of 6! After that, he was always finding his way to the kitchen. Whether sifting flour for one of mom’s red velvet cakes or making chocolate chip cookies, Dyron’s passion grew.
